Serve & Study Series: The Importance of Family & Community
Do something for others; learn something for yourself.

Join us at the Casa for a presentation and discussion about the importance of family and community and what it means to be neighbor.

Catholic teaching is very clear regarding the importance of strong and healthy families and communities: Human beings grow into their full potential when they live in strong families residing in safe and equal communities. How we organize our society—in economics and politics, in law and policy—directly affects human dignity and the capacity of individuals to grow in community.

This ongoing Serve and Study series will cover all seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching over a period of three years.

Fee, includes lunch: $30. If you have volunteered with a Habitat build, including those who provided food, the fee is $25. Family maximum fee is $40. Pre-registration required. To pre-register with special pricing, call Amy at 480.948.7460 ext. 132.
