Images of Faith in Art Series
Discover how art can enrich the experience and understanding of our faith.
Anne Connor, Art Historian, Member, Casa Fine Arts Committee

Tuesdays, September 19, October 17, and November 21, 2017

Three monthly sessions. Attend all, or as many as you wish.

7:00 – 8:30 pm

In a casual, "cabaret" setting with wine, cheese, and other refreshments, art historian Anne Connor brings her knowledge, passion, and sparkle to a delightful and informative series. Throughout history, artists have taken on the challenge of depicting the mysteries of faith in visual and other forms. At the same time, the Church has been a patron of artists for centuries, with an immense treasury of artistic masterpieces as the result.

Let Anne Connor introduce or re-introduce you to dozens of known and lesser-known art works that help to illumine and enrich the experience and understanding of our faith. Wine and cheese, snacks and other refreshments will be served.

FEE: $25 per session, $60 for all three. High school students may attend at no charge (sorry, no wine for you!) by registering through James Whitaker,Youth Minister.
