Brothers in Peace and Prayer Retreat
Thich Nhat Hanh and Thomas Merton: Contemplative Peace Makers
Tom Stella and Jerry Braza

Thich Nhat Hanh and Thomas Merton found a common connection in their belief that working for justice was a natural outgrowth of the contemplative life. Prayer and meditation give rise to engagement in the world, and action rooted in faith leads to contemplative consciousness.

This retreat, consisting of presentations, meditation, reflection, dialogue and prayer, will focus on social justice and prayer in light of the life and teachings of these two great masters of the spiritual life who continue to influence the contemplatives and activists of our time.
