“Don’t let people pull you into their STORM. Pull them into your PEACE.” - Maya Angelou

We live in a wounded world. Ever since September 11, 2001, our world as we knew it was turned upside down. Writing a journal for peace is a process, an activity in which you mentally observe the world around you and note things of interest in your journal – whether it is intriguing, funny, sad or puzzling.

In this journaling session, we will examine ways in which you can be in the midst of noise, turmoil, troubles and still be able to heal and find the calm in your heart.

If you have already taken the introductory workshop, “The Joy of Journaling,” you will find this class an advanced program on journaling with a specific focus on finding peace and calm in your life.

Note: Bring your favorite pen and a blank journal
