Day Programs
Consider arriving a day early, staying a day longer or spending the whole weekend at the Center.

Refund/Cancellation
You are considered registered for a program at the Franciscan Renewal Center (FRC) only when your payment is received. In the event of a program cancellation, the FRC does not assume responsibility for airfare and transfer fees.
Cancellations of registrations without lodging received before the start of the program will receive a full refund, minus a $20 processing fee.
Cancellations of registrations with lodging received more than seven days in advance of the start of the program or retreat will receive a full refund, minus a $20 processing fee.
Cancellations of registrations with lodging received seven days or less than the start of the program or retreat will be charged 50% of the full price of the planned stay.
Full refunds will be made to you if the program is full or if it is cancelled by The Casa.
Services Rendered
All programs and retreats (unless otherwise noted) are offered on site at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona 85253. Registrants are responsible for the cost of travel to/from the Franciscan Renewal Center.
For guests who opt to stay overnight, a check-in and check-out time will be provided to you following confirmation of your registration and before the date of the program or retreat.
Generally, check-in time for retreats is 5:00 pm, dinner is served at 6:00 pm, and the retreat concludes with lunch on Sunday unless otherwise specified.

Peace, Simplicity & The Native American Flute
The power to soothe and heal

 The sound of the Native American flute has the power to soothe

and heal. Playing the flute is a wonderful means of relaxation.

 

This workshop will include:

  • Information on history of the Native American Flute

  • Time for Meditation/Prayer with flute music

  • Beginning basic instruction on playing the flute

The flute is player friendly. Prior music experience not necessary.

Fee per person:  $40.  Registration is necessary.  Limited seating only.

Flute is hand made: $50.  Purchase in class and paid directly to presenter.    

 

Henry (Hank) Molder holds a Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Sociology which helped him in his career as a Juvenile Probation Officer and work with Family Crisis Interventions. When he began his flute journey, Hank became enchanted by the sound and its spiritual nature. He now shares his passion for the Native American flute music and has recorded his first CD in 2014, “Tribute.”
