In the noisy, fast world we live in we need ways to connect deeply with our souls. Whenever we feel depleted, poetry invariably refreshes and refuels us. In this workshop (or as I prefer to call it, “playground”) we will explore, consider and ruminate on short verses by Rumi, the Persian poet and Sufi master born in 1207. Warning: this 'playground' may radically transform your life. Consider this one verse for example: Water says to the one who has gotten dirty: Come! The dirty one answers: But I’m so ashamed … Water answers: But how will you get clean without me!"
Fee: $15 per person. Pre-registration required.
